Dr. Mona Bhaskar has been practicing in the community since 1998. Her goal is to provide the highest quality of dental care and patient satisfaction. She sees all of her patients with warmth and dedication, providing them exceptional care. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, listening to their questions and concerns, helping to make every dental visit an enjoyable one.

Dr. Bhaskar was born in Washington, DC and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. She attended University of Maryland in College Park and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Dr. Bhaskar received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. She furthered her training in a one-year general practice residency program at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Washington, DC. Her patient’s in Fairfax, VA voted her Top Dentist in the Washington Consumers’ Checkbook.

Dr. Bhaskar has a passion to work with students and give back to the community. She has been a clinical instructor at Harvard Dental School and at the University of Maryland dental school. She has also volunteered and treated underprivileged patients in Peru and Thailand.

Since a smile is the first thing that is noticed, Dr. Bhaskar has a passion for restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She and her staff are proud to be part of a profession that mandates continuing education. They enjoy furthering their knowledge and skills by participating in continuing education seminars and conferences, staying on the cutting edge of dentistry. She is an active member of various study clubs and has completed training in CPR, OSHA, invisalign, zoom whitening, and cosmetic dental procedures.

In her spare time, Dr. Bhaskar enjoys travelling and has journeyed extensively throughout the world. She enjoys photography, reading, painting and yoga.
